Your Access to IBT (Installed Base Tool) has changed

  • IBT has moved to a cloud based environment in Azure
  • Access to IBT now goes through Emerson SSO (Single Sign-On) which requires a separate account from IBT
  • The existing IBT URL (website address) has changed to https://installedbase.emerson.com and there will be an automatic redirect in 2 minutes.
  • Your existing IBT username and password will not working, unless you have an existing ProcessWorld or Emerson SSO account.
  • If you do not have a ProcessWorld or Emerson SSO account, you will need to follow the steps below:
    • Please click the link for Create an Account on the Emerson SSO page that you will be redirected to, as shown highlighted in the image on the right
    • Create Account will ask you for your preferred login, your contact information and some security information
    • After succesful account creation, you will be redirected to the Emerson SSO login page
  • You can now use your new Emerson SSO login and password to access IBT
  • If you already have access to IBT, all your settings will remain the same and you will be able to access the same information as before
